Grid capacity mapping

We assess power capacity across regions to inform land- and site-finding for investors and developers. We identify areas with suitable power capacity, shortlisting sites for viability review. To understand the infrastructure of sites, we analyse and liaise with distribution network operators (DNO) and transmission network owners and advise on load gaps between existing supply and future demand. Let us help you plan phasing or procure from alternative sources such as an independent DNO, private wire power purchase, or onsite solutions.

Guiding you through the commercial viability for renewable energy

We assess all renewable technologies, including solar, wind, battery storage, geothermal, heat pumps, and hydropower, helping you understand your return on investment. We advise on collocating renewables with energy storage which can offer energy resilience and income generating opportunities. Optimising electric vehicle charging infrastructure

Using our StratEV modelling tool, we deliver data driven strategies to identify appropriate sites for EV charging. Our modelling takes account of dwell time and grid capacity to determine the right mix and location of charging to demonstrate a return on investment. Our EV consultants also advise on integrating charging infrastructure with renewable energy generation and storage, vehicle-to-grid technology, and the opportunities for both on-plot and off-plot charging.

Microgrids

Generating, storing, and distributing energy on your own localised network¡ªor microgrid¡ªis a smart alternative to traditional energy options. It creates self-sufficient, clean energy for your site and its users. Using large energy data sets, we can identify the optimal microgrid solution for technical performance as well as costs and return on investment. We can also manage supplier procurement and implementation. As electricity is generated locally, microgrids offer a way to improve energy resilience, and reduce carbon and costs.
