Marmong Waters Retirement Village Design
Country Club Living is developing a seniors¡¯ living community at Booragul on Lake Macquarie in New South Wales.?Having acquired the partially completed site in 2023, the Marmong Waters Retirement Village represents the developer¡¯s first over-55s community outside the state of Victoria¡ªwhere they have a long history of building similar developments. We¡¯d provided structural and civil design of the development for the previous owners and Country Club Living engaged us to help.
To refine the design for future stages, our design team included specialists in stormwater drainage and structural design, geotechnical investigation, and reporting. We produced a?12D model for a detailed design of the proposed area of works. This model also addressed stormwater problems and overland flows of the site. The design incorporated a retaining wall to address sloping grounds and lot elevation changes.
Through scope extensions, the team has continued beyond the design stages to provide construction tendering, superintendency, and construction engineering verification services, to support the development from start to finish.
With these refinements to the design for future stages of this retirement community, Country Club Living can offer a place residents can call home.
