As a water and wastewater professional, Bo plays a lead role in planning, testing, evaluating, designing and delivering wet infrastructure projects. Being a technology enthusiast by nature, it brings her the utmost joy to work at the interface of the known and the unknown, tackling challenges utilizing multidisciplinary knowledge and approaches.
Bo has published peer-reviewed papers, delivered presentations, and been granted patents on various water and wastewater challenges. These include biological phosphorus removal, development of technologies for understanding the chemical and biological processes in treatment systems, emerging contaminants and challenges, and more.
When she isn’t busy working on wet infrastructure projects, Bo enjoys time spent with her cat, Tiger, gardening, debating with her son on moral philosophy dilemmas, and teaching English to elementary school students in rural China.
