Alyssa is an emergency planner and trained in the Incident Command System/National Incident Management System. She believes that, while each community faces its own distinct emergencies and challenges, effective response depends on the same key elements: clearly defined roles and responsibilities, reliable communication, and adequate resources. She partners with governments and utilities to understand how they operate, identify their risks and hazards, and support their emergency preparedness efforts.
Alyssa has supported projects across North America, from the Yukon to Puerto Rico, bringing tailored emergency planning solutions to diverse communities. She has comprehensive experience in emergency management, including fuel management planning, public assistance coordination, emergency operations planning, emergency water supply planning, and after-action reporting—supporting communities in strengthening preparedness, response, and long-term resilience.
When she isn’t at work, you can find Alyssa hiking, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on her TCU Horned Frogs.
