Victor is a civil engineer with over a decade of experience working on hydropower, dams, and urban drainage projects. As a senior dam engineer, he currently focuses on hydraulic modelling and design.
One of Victor’s projects includes managing the computational fluid dynamics studies for the upper and lower intakes on the 1,300-megawatt Coire Glas Pumped Storage Scheme. These included head loss modeling of the water conveyance system and liaison on surge analysis. Additionally, he supervised the 2D modelling of Kilfinnan Burn, completed multiple reservoir drawdown optioneering studies, and was involved in a repowering project for the Breadalbane hydroelectric scheme.
Along with project work, Victor is responsible for managing and planning our expansion of computational resources, licenses, and training.
