A research-driven process engineer, Sadikul focuses on bridging science, operations, and design related to sustainable nitrogen removal. He believes that sustainable wastewater treatment should go beyond compliance—it should aim to recover resources, reduce inputs, and support climate resilience.
Sadikul supports applied research on sustainable nitrogen removal, with a focus on partial denitrification-anammox (PdNA), short-cut nitrification and denitrification (SND), and internally stored carbon (ISC) denitrification kinetics, and activity testing. His responsibilities include conducting pilot- and batch-scale experiments, collecting and analyzing process data, and evaluating microbial performance under various carbon dosing strategies. He also assists in developing standard operating procedures and compiling technical documentation to support process intensification efforts within the 麻豆传媒 Institute.
Outside of work, Sadikul enjoy hiking Colorado’s trails and photographing natural landscapes. He’s also passionate about mentoring young professionals and advocating for sustainable development through science and policy.
