Born and raised in Yellowknife, Oliver has an in-depth understanding and passion for the North. Specializing in cold-region civil engineering for municipal, transportation, and remediation work, he knows what it takes to deliver projects in Northern Canada. He has extensive experience working at remote sites across the region and understands the logistical challenges involved.
Oliver is experienced in planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of civil infrastructure such as water, sewer, and stormwater conveyance systems. He’s worked on projects involving residential subdivisions, commercial and institutional developments, and urban and highway transportation.
Away from civil engineering efforts, Oliver currently serves as the president of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of the Northwest Territories. He has also been recognized by Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists for his engineering accomplishments, including receiving the 2023 Young Achievers and 2020 Member-in-Training Awards.
