Brittany is a professional civil engineer with nearly 15 years of experience. She currently focuses on helping clients manage and close coal combustion residuals (CCR) facilities to comply with environmental regulations and protect the environment and surrounding communities.
Experienced in both managing and executing projects, Brittany has worked on efforts including subsurface drilling, soil laboratory testing, installation and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation, and development of construction drawings and specifications. Her favorite projects are ones that she is able to see from the planning phase, into the technical design stage, and through construction. She has recently designed the closure of a CCR facility to support the deployment of a solar panel system, allowing a waste area to be repurposed for future energy generation.
Away from engineering, Brittany enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son. In her spare time, she loves running and baking homemade cakes, decorated sugar cookies, and other sweet treats.
