With nearly 40 years of experience, Jim has worked on a range of highway and roadway infrastructure projects. These have ranged from small bridge replacements to multi-lane interstate highways. He’s also worked on site development and inspected roadway construction projects. He attributes his engineering abilities to learning to design roadways without the aid of computer programs early in his career.
Today, Jim frequently servs in a mentoring and technical review role. He enjoys answering questions and having discussions with other designers and engineers. He strongly advocates for communication within a project team, to take the time to discuss ideas, methods, and questions with others as needed.
When time allows, you can find Jim at his property in the woods enjoying the outdoors.
